Sri Lanka Maldives Tour

Day 01: Colombo
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo.
Escorted to hotel. Half day city tour covering Fort, Pettah, Gangarama temple, Museum, Town Hall.

Day 02: Colombo - Anuradhapura - Mihintale
Early departure for Anuradhapura, 206 km. Visit sacred Bodhi Tree, Isurumuniya Temple, Ruwanveliseya Dagoba, Jetavanarama Dagoba, Thuparama Dsagoba, Brazen Palace, Mirisavati Dagaba, Abhaygiri Dagaba and Samadhi Buddha.

8 km east to Mihintale,. See Kakudiya Pokuna rock, Ambasthala Dagoba.
Night stay in Anuradhapuura.

Day 03: Anuradhapura - Pollonaruwa
Post breakfast, depart for tour of Pollonaruwa. See ruins of man -made reservoir Parakrama Samudra, Kings Council Chamber, Royal Citadel, Kumara Pokuna, Royal Pavilion, Vatadage Relic House, Kiri Vehera, Gal Vihare

Night stay in Pollonaruwa

Day 04: Pollonuruwa - Sigriya
Post breakfast, visit to Sigriya Rock Fortress and frescoes of the heavenly maidens. Elephant safari to Habarana forest followed by evening walk to local village

Night stay in Sigriya.

Day 05: Dambulla
Post breakfast, visit famous Dambulla Caves.

Depart for old royal hill city of Kandy via Matale to see Hindu temple, batik factory and spice garden

Night stay in Kandy

Day 06: Kandy - Pinnawela
Post breakfast; proceed to Elephant orphanage at Pinnawela where more than 65 elephants are taken care of.

Afternoon, visit Embekka wood carving temple and Gadaladeniya, stone carving temple and the Botanical Garden at Peradeniya.

Day 07: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Post breakfast, board train for Nuwara Eliya . On arrival, visit tea plantation and tea factory. Enjoy lovely countryside, known as "Little England".

Night stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 08: Nuwara Eliya - Colombo
After breakfast, drive to Colombo 180 km

Rest till time to board flight to Maldives.

Day 09: Maldives
Arrive in Maldives, check in at hotel.

Enjoy beach side, and indulge in water sports

Day 10: Maldives
Enjoy the sea side, and explore the marine wonders. Go snorkeling, diving with trained instructors.

Look out for the whales and dolphins off the shores.

Day 11: Maldives - Home
Return, end of tour.
